About Us

Our Mission

FURS is an all-volunteer dog rescue and adoption group founded in 2001. Our grassroots, local organization is focused on careful, permanent adoptions of the dogs we rescue from euthanizing shelters and other high-risk situations. We rescue dogs of all ages and breeds and take in a high percentage of dogs needing medical treatment or who have special needs.
